It was lovely to meet all the families who joined us at the New Family Welcome yesterday. We look forward to working with you to support our schools ans students. A huge THANK YOU to our principals for taking time out of their schedules this past Friday for PTG's Meet the Principals event. If you've recently moved to Bedford or are sending your first child to a Bedford School, join us at the New Family Welcome! You are invited to a great opportunity to hear what each school has in store for the year at Mckelvie Parents, join us on Monday, 09/19 at 9.30am to see what volunteer opportunities await! The Bedford School Board is committed to engaging with the community. You're invited to engage in an informal conversation on Tuesday, September 20th. The topic will be "School Opening". In attendance will be two board members and the Superintendent. Attention MEM Parents: Are you looking to get involved your child's school? Whether you're interested in volunteering occasionally or regularly, helping from home, dropping off supplies for events or you just want to learn more about upcoming volunteer opportunities - you must fill out a volunteer form for each school your children attend. These forms can be found in the Principals notes emails that are sent on Fridays or on our website at https://bedfordptg.org/. We hope the new school year is off to a great start! Our fall fundraising begins today with our Support Drive. This is one of the easiest ways to be involved with the PTG! Your donations make possible the many events and programs that the PTG brings to our students. Donations also help us support the needs of our schools.

THE BEDFORD PARENT TEACHER GROUP (PTG) WAS DEVELOPED TO CREATE A WORKING PARTNERSHIP WITH PARENTS, TEACHERS AND SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION TO FOSTER A COOPERATIVE, ENRICHING LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE STUDENTS IN THE BEDFORD SCHOOL DISTRICT.
