- KEVIN HINES –Monday 10/30, 7pm BHS Theater – Kevin Hines is an award-winning brain/mental health and suicide prevention activist, multiple award-winning filmmaker, best-selling author, and international speaker sharing his story of an unlikely survival and his strong will to live. Two years after he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder (19 years of age), he attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. He is one of only thirty-six to survive the fall. Today, Kevin dedicates his life to saving lives, encouraging others to seek help, and by spreading empathy and his message of hope.
- ONE PILL CAN KILL – Thursday 10/26, 6:30pm RAL Media Center – The Bedford School District in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is hosting an event to educate the public about the dangers of counterfeit pills.

SCARLETT LEWIS CHOOSE LOVE MOVEMENT – Choose Love Movement is inspired by 6-year-old Jesse Lewis, his final acts of love, and his mother’s path of forgiveness after Jesse was killed in a school shooting. FIVE MAJOR SIGNS of Emotional Distress (2017)
Back in 2017 Former NH Supreme Court Justice Broderick spoke to students, teachers and parents of Bedford about his own experience with mental illness in his family, the 5 signs of emotional distress and the need to change our perceptions and remove the stigma surrounding mental health. Although this video is from 2017, the message is still relevant today.
