The Bedford PTG is excited to host this family-friendly colorful event in the Bedford community. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us at Bedford High School on Sunday, June 1, 2025 for our Color Blast Fun Run/Walk beginning at 9:30AM…It’s not about how fast you are but how colorful you will become!

WHAT IS A COLOR BLAST?  The PTG Color Blast is a 2 mile family-friendly Fun Run/Walk to support the Bedford Schools. Be prepared to dance, twirl, run, skip, walk and stroll through color stations where you will be “blasted” with color powder. Be sure to wear white and expect to finish looking like a colorful work of art. 

HOW DO I REGISTER? Online registration is closed, but registrations will be taken on the day of, Sunday 6/1, starting at 8AM on BHS/RAL campus at the Registration Tent. Please note registrations are non-refundable. This event is held rain or shine. 

WHAT IS THE COST TO REGISTER? Registrations will be taken on the day of, Sunday 6/1, for $35/adult and $15/age 10 & under (cash/check/credit accepted).  Please note registrations are non-refundable. 

DON’T FORGET YOUR EVENT T-SHIRT: Although T-shirt ordering through registration has ended, a limited number of shirts (sizes vary) will be available for purchase for $10 at early bib pick up on 5/30 and at the Event on 6/1, while supplies last.    

WANT MORE COLOR? Although Color Packet ordering through registration has ended, a limited number of packets (colors vary) will be available for purchase for $3 at early bib pick up on 5/30 and at the Event on 6/1, while supplies last. 

CAN I PICK UP MY BIB & T-SHIRT/COLOR BEFORE JUNE 1st? Yes, avoid the lines on registration day and come to Early Bib Pick-up will be on Friday, MAY 30th at McKelvie Intermediate School from 4p.m. – 7p.m., at the County Road entrance under the canopy. We will not be taking new registrations at that time. Race day registration will open at 8:00am at BHS/RAL campus on June 1st.

WILL THE RACE BE TIMED? Though all runners will have bibs, this event is a fun run/walk and therefore will NOT be timed…it is more about the Fun than the Run. No awards for finishing places will be given out.

VOLUNTEERS: Many volunteers are needed to make this event successful. Volunteer for the entire event or just a few hours. Click HERE to Volunteer.

RAFFLE: Through the generous donation of our sponsors we will have some great raffle items. Tickets are $1 each or 20 for $10 and will be available at early bib pick up on May 30th and at the event on June 1st. You do not need to be present to win, winners will be drawn at the end of the race.

“FINISH FESTIVAL” – Post Color Blast Fun Run:  After the run, the fun continues. We will have music, food, balloon creations, a spot to take photos and we’ll announce the raffle winners.
