ORK Presents: The Works of Greg Tang

Opportunities Reaching Kids is sponsoring an evening for parents with award winning author Greg Tang on Tuesday October 25th from 7-8 PM at the Bedford High School Theater.   His books, games and puzzles give students a better understanding of math from counting to calculus.

Author of The Grapes of Math, Math Potatoes, and Math Appeal, Greg Tang will speak about students learning to think abstractly and efficiently about numbers rather than counting and memorizing.  See your child develop great computational skills, strong mental math skills and the abstract, algebraic thinking skills needed for higher math.  His books and innovative math puzzles and games will be available for purchase.
