GIFTS, WRAP, & MORE SALE

This year we will feature Meadow Farms products with orders delivered right to your door!!! (Exception: Frozen food items will be delivered to a central location with two days available for pick up.) Choose from a great selection of quality gift wrap and accents, gift items, creative children’s products, exclusive kitchen gadgets, personalized products, cookie dough, candies and frozen food items!!!

The sale will run from September 16th through October 4th and online through December 31, 2011.

HOLIDAY GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER

2 Gifts for the Price of 1
Finish your holiday shopping early this year by purchasing gift cards through the Bedford PTG to provide support for the Bedford schools with no additional cost to you! Watch for your order form which will be coming home with your child from school…

How does it work? For every gift card you buy, a percentage of the value of the card is donated by the sponsoring retailer to our schools while 100% of the value of the card that you purchased is available for you to spend!

Gift cards are the perfect way to show someone how much you appreciate them, help with everyday shopping, or just do something special in celebration of the upcoming holiday season. This year, give the gift of relaxation to yourself by finishing your holiday shopping today!

SKI & SKATE SALE

Outfit your entire family with winter sports gear for the upcoming season by joining the Bedford community for a consignment sale of new and used ski, hockey, boarding equipment, skates and clothing! Whether you are in the market for new equipment or simply want to sell your own, this sale is for you!

DROP-OFF: Bedford High School – November 18, 2011 (5:00pm – 8:00pm)

Make space for new gear by selling your old equipment by simply dropping it off and adding a tag!
To expedite tagging your items, please bring the following with your equipment:
1. Self addressed mailing labels to attach to each tag.
2. Money to purchase the tags. The fee for the tags is based on total amount of items that you are selling.

0-5 Items = $3.00
6-10 Items = $4.00
11-15 Items = $5.00
16 + Items = $8.00.

Volunteers will be available to help guide you through the tagging process and provide “suggested” prices for equipment and clothing. The PTG keeps 20% of the sale price and straight skis and outdated boots will not be accepted.

SALE DAY: Bedford High School – November 19, 2011 (9:00am – 2:00pm)

Come shop top ski merchants who are bringing NEW and USED equipment at tremendous savings along with their expertise in fitting the right ski, board and boots to your ability. Enjoy refreshments while you shop and enter the annual raffle for a chance to win great prizes including lift tickets, ski equipment, apparel and many other products from local businesses.

PICK-UP: Bedford High School – November 19, 2011 (3:00pm – 4:30pm)

Be sure to come back to pick up any unsold items and cash or a check for 80% of the sale price for your items sold. At 4:45pm sharp, all merchandise will be donated to local charities, so be prompt in returning to collect your unsold items.

BARNES & NOBLE BOOK FAIR

Shop at Barnes & Noble on South Willow St. in Manchester on Friday, February 3rd and Saturday, February 4th and the Bedford PTG will receive a percentage of the sales. The more supporters shop, the more the PTG (and our schools) will earn. Be sure to use a flyer/voucher at the time of purchase. Online sales are also eligible from February 3th through February 9th. Events include student performances, an art exhibit and teacher/principal-lead storytelling. Go to http://www.bedfordptg.org for a flyer/voucher and a schedule of events.

This is a great time to stock up for vacation reading and to support our talented students!


SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIRS

The annual Scholastic Book Fairs will be held in April in all three elementary schools, McKelvie Intermediate School and Ross Lurgio Middle School. In 2010, combined sales totaled over $52,000! In addition to the profit earned by the PTG, which will be used for PTG sponsored programs, the school libraries received over $4650 in free books. Students at Riddlebrook school met a challenge to raise over $300 to purchase books and got to slime Mrs. McCarthy and Mrs. Halley!!!! Click here for pictures.
